Members simo2guit Posted January 1, 2008 Members Share Posted January 1, 2008 Hi, If anyone would have any helpful advice on what could be wrong with my dl4. I have had it a few years with minimal problems, although I did have to get a couple switches changed eventually. Recently at a gig, it went off the deep end and while you can still hear the guitar and delay effects, there is a REALLY LOUD hissing/static sound that goes up with the amp volume that was never there before. I've already opened it up, and popped out the chip and put it back again as somebody had suggested but to no avail... I don't see any obvious bad caps etc or joints so far.. The hiss remains. Any suggestions would be great as I'm just a hobbiest when it comes to this although I can definitely solder/desolder with no problems. Thanks in advance.
