Members he_plays_guitar Posted February 20, 2008 Members Share Posted February 20, 2008 Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone knew of some popular IC's to use in making your own effect pedals. I only know of the 4049 series, and being new to building my own pedals, I was wondering if there are uses for other IC's. I have a number of electronics sitting around that have IC's on them and I wanted to know if there are certain ones that work for effect pedals, and certain ones that don't, so I can salvage ones I can potentially use. I have a list somewhere of other popular ones. Just experiment. The JRC was sort of an accident for ibanez/maxon. They used it because it was cheap.
