Members adamsville
Hey everyone,I am building electronics for my 335 COPY from scratch. I am using the typical les paul wiring diagram, 2 volume 2 tones and am using a .47uf polyester film capacitor linking the volume and tone pots. I am using Two GFS dog eared P-90's. There, ofcourse is also the typical 3 way toggle switch. I am having no problems wiring it up, but what I am having a little trouble on, is that I need to add an additional identical 3 way toggle switch and that's where I'm stumped. One toggle switch needs to be with the tone and volume pots that control the neck, the other with the bridge.Ive tried searching the web for diagrams using and additional identical 3 way toggle but all i find are the mini switches and such. If anyone can give me a push in the right direction. I'd appreciate it.
Members Pillimees
Can you elaborate more on what you want the toggle switches to do. On a typical LP the 3-way switch chooses which pickups are active - the neck, both in parallel, or the bridge pickup. What exactly do you want the second switch to do? Members adamsville
I am still a novice to this and am still learning. What I was wanting, was one switch to control the neck pickup and the other switch to control the bridge. Would that work? Is that possible? Members Pillimees
I still don't understand. How do you want the switches to control the pickups? Just describe what should happen when one of the switches is in the first, second or third position.
Members teo.gp
Maybe on - off switches? It would be useless, you already have full control with the stock wiring
Members H.R. Shove and Stuff
That doesnt make a lick of sense. Maybe OP wants some kind of phase switch?
