Members Durwood75
Sorry, I'm a noob. What gauge seems to work best? I'm gonna be working w/ this kit: http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Electronics,_pickups/Supplies:_Wiring_kits/Wiring_Kit_for_SG.html Thanks.
Members Alan Roberts
I keep several gauges around the shop, but Kester 44 Rosin Core Solder 60/40 .031" is what I use most of the time.
Members el_tonto
I use 0.5mm (0.020") for some of the finer stuff (like surface mount work) which also works perfectly fine for most through-hole work, and even heavier stuff like cables. 0.7mm would be ok for most hobby work, but I wouldn't go as high as 1.0mm (0.040") I don't think.
