Members tone_crafter
I am looking at building myself an electric guitar. I would like to build a PRS 24 fret standard style guitar with a set neck and a tremolo bridge. I also have a Line 6 variax 300 guitar which I will transplant the electronics from into the one I build. Does anyone know where I could get guitar templates from? I will need templates for the pickups, bridge route, variax electronics, body and neck. I found a website www.guitarbuildingtemplates.com which sells templates made from Masonite but to ship these to New Zealand would be infeasible I think. I would much prefer buying paper templates or finding somewhere online where I can simply print them out and make my own templates from that. Also can anyone point me to any good resources to start me off. I have purchased a book and found some people online who have done what I want to do. Can anyone point me to any good video resources for example? I have had a look on youtube and found some but the more expertise I can get the better. Members badone07
If you have a CAD program or access to one, I have some zipped files I could email you. I've been collecting & saving them. Should have more in them than what you are asking. Message me your email address if you want them. John
