Members wmwise
Howdy and thanks in advance for the help. I have played acoustics for about 15 years, I have been thinking of giving a hand at electrics. So this is what I would like to do, but since I am a real dummy when it comes to electrics, you guys tell me if this is going to work. I have an old archtop acoustic that I would like to add electrics to, so here is what I am thinking....... 1 P90 2 wire pickup in the neck position250K tone with a .022uf capacitor250K volume controlgood quality 1/4" output jackHow will I need to wire this up? I would like it to have a nice mellow kinda vintage tone. I will be using for stumming and lead. I play classic and vintage country mixed with some old rock. Thanks againBill
Members Belva
Check out guitarelectronics.com & seymorduncan.com. They have many wiring diagrams that will get you going. Sounds like you're right where you want to be as far as parts selection for the sound you want.
