I'm building a solidbody guitar for my senior project. It's a strat-style but everything i've put into it was pretty good quality stuff-- The neck is custom from Carvin, GFS pickups, not great, but at least better than average. Except one thing. I made a fatal mistake and ordered the Floyd Rose "Fastloader" instead of the Floyd Rose "Speedloader." The Fastloader, so far, looks like trash. And now, my project is due soon, but I can't finish the guitar until I find a Routing template for it. It is very similar to the Floyd Rose Pro trem, but not exact. Could I use the template for that? Or can anyone give me a link to one for this "Fastloader?" Also, I'd REALLY rather not destroy the body. I've heard way too many horror stories of people trying to install these themselves and putting it either too high or too low and messing up the intonation of the guitar. Is there like a set measurement, say 25" from the nut or something? Any replies would be appreciated. I'm running out of time on this thing.
