Members ripper6192003
Im really confused. I have a dimarzio super 3 that I want to install into my wolfgang. Guitar set up is 1 Volume, 1 Tone, 1 Humbucker(bridge) . I have the install diagram for this setup off guitarelectronics.com and the wire color code from there as well. The Super 3 has 5 wires. Red(hot),White(South Finish), Black(North Finish), Green(South Start) and Bare(Ground/sheild). Now the diagram looks like this: http://www.guitarelectronics.com/product/WD1H11_00/Guitar_Wiring_Diagram_1_Humbucker1_Volume1_Tone.html So I am confused.....How does the North Start wire(hot) connect to both the Volume and the Tone pots when there is only one wire?? Members vanzant38
Here's a PDF file from the dimarzio site. Maybe it will help you. I'm pretty sure you need the standard series wiring. http://www.dimarzio.com//media/diagrams/4Conductor.pdf If I'm wrong, don't worry. Someone will point that out.
