Members Spencer Crewe
Ok...all was well in PT HD 6.2.3-Land this morning. But, all of a sudden, I couldn't get playback anymore. It says that it's playing (green light/play button on transport tel me so, at least) yet, nothing is moving and I have no audio. Did I happen to hit some sort of obscure shortcut that locks playback? Cheers!Spencer
Members where02190
Is there meter movement?Check your output assignments.Make sure no tracks are solo'd (that maybe contain no audio.)
Members Zooey
Try the Digidesign User Conference. It's possible you hit some shortcut that's causing the problem (maybe PT is waiting to sync to timecode or something?) I also recommend updating to PT6.4 at least, especially if you're mixing in the box.
Members Spencer Crewe
6.9 is on it's way (budget put it off until now). I'm sure that will fix all I have no meters - nothing. The playbutton lights up, but that's it: no scrolling, no meters, no sound. Just a lying play button.... Cheers and Thanks Spencer
Members where02190
Is the counter moving? If not, the you put it in sync mode, and there's no timecode incoming. Click the little clock icon on the far left of the transport controls off.
Members Spencer Crewe
Actually, Where, you were close. Close enough to put me on the right track. It wasn't searching for incoming time code; it was searching for external MMC. But your suggestion was enough to set me in the right direction - thanks again. Cheers!
