Members Christopher Kai
Here's my first shot at Cubase/Firebox. I'd really like your comments on what I should do differently. All I have for a vocal mic is a 58 and I have an acoustic electric that I ran direct and mic'd. Kiss Me Something Fierce The purpose of this recording is not commercial- this is the first of many demos that I send to a Publisher in Nashville. All they want to hear is the bones of the song- no frills, really. So, that being said, what can I do to make tracks like this really stand out? Thanks in advance! Members RJC
As far as the recording, it'll work for it's intended purpose. Song structure, the 4 bars going into the chorus are kind of non discript, I'd reccomend taking another look at that from the melody perspective, maybe incorporate a descending bass line in the backing track or something. It kind of looses steam there..... Hope that is helpful.... Rob
