Members rushtallica Posted July 7, 2006 Members Share Posted July 7, 2006 Hi. This is a cross-post w/ a couple other forums, but I'm just trying to get help for a friend's setup asap. A coworker of mine has the Fruity Loops suite recording program running straight into an onboard soundcard and doesn't know how to get his keyboard USB connection or direct mic to record on it. I just thought about it possibly needing a mic preamp (not sure if the keyboard would be able to be used in that way or not). Can anybody tell me if there's just a certain setting that needs to be set up in FL, somewhere the monitoring needs turned on, etc. -- basically any info that might be helpful? Members rsadasiv Posted July 9, 2006 Members Share Posted July 9, 2006 Check which version you have. The FruityLoops version does not include recording capabilities. You need to pony up for the Producer Edition to record external audio. If you do have the producer edition, you need to have ASIO drivers for your sound card.
