Members T3 Posted June 3, 2007 Members Share Posted June 3, 2007 hi all, have recently bought an Art DPS II preamp. i pulled the tube inside, its currently a sovtek 12AX7 WA, i was just wondering if there was a better option out there. i'm reasonably familiar with the options for guitar amps, but this is new ground for me, any suggestions? also, on a side note, how exactly can one tube be used for 2 preamps, with potentially different settings? *have read up on triodes, ignore this* this is in recording as well, apologies for the cross-post. many thanks...
