I'm looking for a mastering place

My music isn't really typical anything and my friend told me that it's best to have a mastering place that has dealt with the specific brand of music that he or she is attempting to master.

here are two songs that show what the brunt of my music sounds like;

it's like.. electro, piano, acoustic? I've never been able to label myself.

p.s all of my recordings are DIY at home.

I gave a listen and think it sounds very good. I would consider them done and usable at that point. What are you looking for in mastering? Fades, encoding, limiting, level, Eq or what?

Lots of mastering folks in the "Recording Forum"

If it were me I would change the snare samples on the Winter song. They sound sort of chessy and out of place considering the rest of the mix.

did you check your mix in Mono. I know there is some delibrate pingpong stereo effect with some sort of low level delay but I think you just might have a phasing issue if the mix was mono.

sounds good and I wouldn't bother with mastering either.
