Members Lucky #9
Nice job! No doubt you will be spending tons of time out in the garage now. Curious...what is your basic equipment set-up for recording out there? How would you desribe the basic room --- muted, lively? Thanks...

How would you desribe the basic room --- muted, lively The room actually sounds quite good when we are jamming. I have an A&H mix wiz with 3 QSC 2450's into JBL mpro mains/subs/monitors - the rig I used to run a little small time sound for a couple of local bands. I have a Korg D3200 and a decent pc with a delta 44 running Reaper. My mic pres are an avalon-737, 2 RNP's with one hooked up to a RNC and the other hooked up to a RNLA, a digitec vocalist live pro for vocal effects and a wide range of mics from cheap mics like akg 414b, 2 sm81's, 2 at4040's, a fat head ribbon, a cad trion ribbon, sm7b, at 4041, sm57's, sm58's, ev767's, senn 609's, sp b1, sp c1, and several others I can't even think of at the moment, Roland v-drums for the drum tracks. I have not had much time to do any recording or jamming since I finished the room - I've only done one song (I played everything on it) serious lack of talent!!! He it is if you'd like to hear what the room kinda sounds like........ http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=9718829
