Members ChrisAlgoo
Hey! If I stay on schedule (and I will ), then I'll upload a new clip every week. My first is a slow ballad by Kamelot, a metal band that has one of my favorite singers ever. Here's clip #1! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jUdp9qMzJII
Members Jersey Jack
Not my cup o' tea musically, but your voice sounds fine. BUT: It's difficult to assess a vocal performance when the singer is singing over the original recording--i.e., singing over a pro vocalist, as you appear to be doing here. I know that it's hard to reproduce this stuff, but if you can do a paired-down version--using piano or acoustic guitar--we'll be better able to hear your true voice. Singing over a guide melody is an old studio trick, and it's fair game when recording, but it serves as a crutch. If you can't play an instrument, perhaps you can get a karaoke track? Or simply do an a capella version. I lok forward to more.
