Members jnorman Posted August 30, 2005 Members Share Posted August 30, 2005 one of my local radio stations here just ran a little contest - the person who could come up with any two words that yeilded the fewest hits on google won a prize. the winner came up with "pulchitudinous voraphile" which returned no hits. i started thinking, and had plenty of ideas, like quasar/tofu, photon/turkey, etc etc - but to my surprise, i got like 5-600 hits no matter what i tried - some person actually had a freakin recipe for a quasar tofu dish, and of course there are physics labs in turkey that do photon experiments, etc. i mean, come on - i got 73 hits for "sward ululate". so, i am still playing with this. what two word combination can you come up with that yeilds no, or very few google hits? Members Scodiddly Posted August 30, 2005 Members Share Posted August 30, 2005 A friend of mine came up with a game like this a few years ago - pre-Google, it used... damn, I can't remember the search engine. Anyway, the searches gave you both the total number of hits for the word combination, and also totals for each word. So the game worked like this: Pick two words that each get a lot of hits individually, but as few as possible in combination. Then there was a little formula to determine your score.
