Anybody catch Fashion Rocks last night?

I only saw a little bit of it.

Duran Duran was cool. It's nice to see them all back together again.

Now I have a question;

Did David Bowie get beat up in a bar fight or something? He's up there on stage singing, he has his hand wrapped up, and a black eye. Did anyone catch that?

What was the deal?

I saw P-doody and Gwen Stephani and others doing some kind of hiphop thing.

For some reason, that {censored} just never sounds right in a big venue like this one....at last on TV. It just sounds like a bunch of disjointed mush over a backing track.

Gwen's looking great, but she needs to cut this solo {censored} and get back with No Doubt.

Any comments?

I like Gwen's solo stuff just fine, way better than her performance as a Diddy "accessory" during the Fashion Rocks show.

Duran Duran were cool, but Simon's vocals weren't exactly spot-on. Still good to see Duran Duran with the original lineup (though I did miss Nick's Jupiter 8 and was a bit weirded out seeing him play Korg).

I hadn't seen Arcade Fire before, so their performance with Bowie was a real eye-opener. Not exactly my cup of tea, but pretty interesting nonetheless.

Someone needs to unequivocally end Lisa Marie Presley's music career. Please. Soon.

I'm not a Joss Stone fan, last night's performance didn't change my mind.

Rob Thomas' performance was pretty tight, but when he and Joss Stone did "Stop Dragging My Heart Around," It was not a great cover by any means.
