Today my dad turned 60 and he made a pic of Skippy our Son.... Since my son was born, I've gone out of my way to make sure there are lots of "three generation" pictures of me, my father, and my son. That hasn't been possible in my family since the 1930's. Yup, my dad's dad passed away before I was born. It's been important for me to have my son know and be close to his grandfather. I enjoy doing the occasional Saturday morning breakfast with son and Gramps together, three generations of Klopmeyer doods. For some reason those two (aged 6 and 65 respectively) are more alike than I am compared to either of them. Believe it or not, they're the goofballs while I'm the serious, responsible one.
