She has a nice quick in-and-out vibrato similar to Alison Krause. Reminds me a little bit of a cross between Bonnie Raitt, Alison Krause and Dolly Parton. She's 16. Believe it or not, I just finished a marathon week and I'm just getting back from a 20 hour day of mixing in order to meet a deadline and finish a song that is supposed to be hitting radio on Monday. Can't give out the details yet but hopefully you'll hear it and then I can talk about it.Regarding Rene'- She is as real of a deal as you can get. I get goosebumps and watery eyes when she sings and that has only happened a few times in the past 20 years. I didn't do much of an abundance of the record as far as engineering, but I could probaly find a few stories lyin' around from the sessions but I can think about what I did do when my brain gets back to normal and I'll be able to offer up some goodies.
