I have been to the Nashville Namm show a few times and enjoyed it. My "pusher" or "dealer" who usually gets me a few passes is no longer in the business. It's like a big circus without a ringmaster, and all these people grubbing for money, and telling lies. I'd rather go to TGI Fridays oar to see a really good Klezmer band. Also you get to see the NEWEST GEAR, some of which may or may not end up in your local music store. Then there are those deals that would tempt even me into the business, such as MAPLE 5 piece lacquered drumsets for only $180.....only 1 hitch though....must buy 108 sets.
