Gus Lozada
A glass of wine with your main meal ... or a small glass of Brandy, to relax on evenings... or one shot of tequila. Ok, scotch might work too. One a day, good for you.

Basically morepaul answered... but I eat a lot of quaker oat meal, in breakfast. When I am thristy even after workout, you can use oats instead of kool aid seriously, but just plain oats with no flavor, a glas of water, to spoons of oats, and one spoon of natural honey!!!! the best, and it is very refreshing... Members wooden
Also is nice after workout because of the proteins! And, yeap... a glass of wine is healthy too, but i drink plain grape juice instead, because i can drink a lot more without living drunk it helps to reduce the risk of heart attack. Members wooden
one more Chicken soup, when its done put an egg on it, beware of the colesterol I usually eat 3 of them with this recipe. After the egg put 2 or 3 spoons of oat in the soup. Its really nice. You know, oat is wonderful, because it is really cheap, eat it for 30 days (in really good sized portions) and youll see how your cholesterol almost dissapear

Members devast8r
Kind of off topic but whatever... I cut up some garlic five days ago for some bruschetta I was cooking and my fingers STILL smell like garlic. My guitar neck smells like garlic. I can't get away from this wretched aura of garlic. I've done everything to try and get rid of the smell short of soaking my hands in bleach and/or sulfuric acid. Any tips? On topic... I eat a lot of fruit and dairy. Soy products are good, too, and it's a nice excuse to eat some japanes cuisine.
Members phaeton
The basic rules I try to live by (but tend to fail at regularly): Whole grainsWaterFruitsVegetables (some high-quality meats too) And try not to mess with anything any more than you have to- this means: don't overcookdon't add salt or sugarkeep things in proportion Nature has provided the perfect foods. It's not convenient, but all we have to do is get used to them again. Beans + dark green vegetables (broccoli, aparagus, spinach) are an amazingly capable meat substitute. Some folks swear by washing your hands with stainless steel (really) under running water otherwise it's back to the trad stuff..baking soda and salt Garlic can be tricky b/c i's a natural source of DMSO so it tends to get 'in there' pretty good

Members blackpig
Originally posted by Tedster Daryl Hall certainly did. :D I eat lots of garlic, olive oil, wholemeal bread and brown rice. When I die just throw me on your compost heap. A glass or two of red wine every day is good but it is said that red grape juice has the same healthy properties without the alcohol. Oh - lots of fish. Mrs. BP and I have just dicovered that our local fishmonger is more than just a unique fragrance. He has all kinds of fish that a few years ago would have been considered "exotic" in these parts - swordfish (try it smoked), fresh tuna, shark, red mullet and so on. Members TheWewus
Don't forget the onions and peppers, any kind will do ya good, and are a perfect compliment to garlic. They all contain sulfiides, which is a good part of why they are so good for you. ONIONS And Peppers yum. To kill garlic smell topically use some Dr. Bronner's Sal Suds . This product has extraordinary odor killing properties probably because of the pine oils in it. It will kill things like garlic smell, and shrimp smell on your hands better than anything I've ever used If you take garlic at night with some extra water it tends to lessen the smell from your body, and chewing a little parsley can kill garlic breath.
