Members NewSc2
dunno if this is the right forum, but here goes: I've messed around with Logic Pro 7 for a while, and I know it. Not intimately well, but it's the only software I've used, other than Albeton Live a bit (not as good, soundwise) and Reason 2.5 (same). I've heard good things about IMPOscar, FM7, and PSP VintageWarmer. I've tried some of the Arturia Moog ones, and, didn't really use them much. Anyways, I'm happy with most of the softsynths and effects but what are some that I should try out? Are there any must-haves?
Members Anderton
I'm curious why you don't think Ableton Live and Reason aren't as good sound-wise. Ableton Live's sound quality depends mostly on the stretching you use; if you don't stretch, the output should sound the same as the input. Reason is all 32-bit floating point and actually, the NN-XT has superb transpositional characteristics compared to even top of the line hardware samplers. What specifically about Logic sounds better to you?

I guess a good place to start is what you feel Logic is lacking plugin-wise, or not up to your taste.
