Members offramp
Well, I guess I'm glad to see Husband with them...I mean, I'd much rather it be me in the drum chair... Soon as I can find a reliable broadband connection, I'll check it out.
Members bp
It's OK stuff but not a good as my older favorites.
Members Shars
My thoughts are its a lazy production with no flair. Sounds like it was recorded in a toilet somewhere and if you listen, one of those tracks does not sound like Gary on the drums... Its Forevernow rehashed with Trash chucked in and lifts from older tracks like Love Games.I dont like it at all. But, Gary is one of my heros so I guess its good to see him on the tracks but Lindups return might be a fall, we will see. Members offramp
The guitar sounds on "Rooted"--as best as I can hear them on the crappy WMP on my Mac--are really reminiscent of...oh, hell...what's the one album Alan played on before he died?...that one, and maybe a bit of the tune about the artist, on 'Guaranteed'. I notice the drums are really present, very up front (toms, especially) on the samples. I'll wait to hear more of it before I pass my final answer on it; thus far, not bad...not gripping, or exciting, but from a drummer's perspective, good groove stuff to practice with. And yeah, the cover art...while I dig futuristic stuff, for the most part, this thing seems so out of character for them.

Members Tedster
Will listen to the tracks. The album cover looks like something Styx would have put out back in the 70s.
Members Tedster
I liked the tracks. I didn't like the way they were mixed...possibly mastered. Perhaps it was my player...but the tracks seemed to lack "space" or "depth". I thought the tunes were great, the musicianship was superb...but...to me, it sounded like someone mixed it through one speaker of a car stereo turned up to 15. "There! About there! Crank it til it starts to break up". Needed more breathing room in the mix to my ears.
Members flemtone
Eh...*rocking hand back and forth* I really liked the first track - the 2nd wasn't bad, the third didn't do anything for me, and the 4th was so-so. It's nice to hear Mark's voice on some new material, and Gary's killing (as always). The first thing I thought when I heard the first track was "Thomas Dolby!". The cover's a little weird, but what ya gonna do? I'll reserve judgement until I catch the snippets from the other tracks, but I'd get it, just because. peace,Tim from Jersey
