Members UstadKhanAli
I figgered I'd mention this because I really like the guy and his microphones. In the Jan 2007 issue of Pro Audio Review, there's an article about Gene Lawson. I did not know, for instance, that he drummed for Lonnie Mack (playing on Lonnie Mackis' instrumental version of Chuck Berry's "Memphis") or played in Conway Twitty's band. The article, of course, also goes over his fine microphones, including the his handmade L47 (now the L47MP MK II), which are a bargain at $2000. Him and his wife Gayle are super nice people, and they make wonderful mics. I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am with the L251.
Phil O'Keefe
I'll have to check that out - thanks for the heads-up Ken.
