Members Anderton
Wow, I go to NAMM for a few days and don't get to visit the forum because I'm doing videos, and when I get back, it's like all these shoe squatters have moved in. But that's not all there is to the story. I feel it's important for SSSers to understand these messages are NOT spam; they are coded messages from another galaxy. From what I've been able to decipher (and props to George Tomlinson, an expert on encryption/decryption, for his help), they appear to relate to something that is intended to benefit all mankind. Again, the translation is incomplete, but the title is "To Serve Man," and there is much information on how to make the distribution of the world's food supply more efficient. Members Lancaster
There have been sighting of mysterious shoe shaped satellites orbiting our planet. NASA is trying to distract us with stories of astronauts drinking, etc.The astronauts who have seen the shoe satellites have been ordered to shut up or risk being publically outed as drunken lunatics. If you dont believe me, the next time the Shoe Race contacts us in this forum ,read the message backwards. They mean us no harm.I define "no harm" as meaning that I have already been replaced by an alien pod as a step towards our planet's incorporation into the Shoe Collective. I can say no more. When these Earth fools figure out that turning their monitors upside down will reveal that everything in this forum is coded shoe messages, the Hour Of The Giant Boot Of Enlightenment shall be upon us. His Heelship sends regards from the homeworld and reminds you that one of his birthdays is next week.Hint,hint...

Moderators Lee Knight Posted August 2, 2007 Moderators Share Posted August 2, 2007 It's a shameless yet covert attempt by late 70's power pop outfit Shoes out of Zion IL, to draw attention to their recently re-released catalog... Shoes is an American power pop band, formed in Zion, Illinois in 1974 by brothers John and Jeff Murphy, and Gary Klebe and incorporated several different drummers over the years including Barry Shumaker, Skip Meyer, Ric Menck, John Richardson, and Jeff Hunter. Shoes' biggest hit was "Tomorrow Night" from the album Present Tense. The big radio hit in Chicago, their home town essentially, was "Too Late" in 1980 from the same album. Addition radio play included "She Satisfies" and "Karen" from 1981's Tongue Twister, "Curiosity" and "Mayday" from 1982's Boomerang and "Feel The Way That I Do" from 1990's Stolen Wishes, which was also included in the movie 'Mannequinn II'. Members Ethan Winer
these messages are NOT spam; they are coded messages from another galaxy. LOL, folks I'm bumping this because I had an interesting spam issue recently and thought others might want to do the same. The past week I've been getting a ton of spam offering me a business loan. But unlike most spammers this one has a toll-free US number. Hey, the spam says to call them, so that's just what I did. Again and again. I called them 100 times on one day this week. They know me well. I am not proposing to organize a posse to join me in calling them repeatedly unless you too are getting the same spam. In which case it'd be great if you too would call them repeatedly. The spams all include "thanks" in the subject, and this line in the email: Call Us Free on 877-699-7808 Please post your success stories here. And be sure to tell them Ethan Winer sent you. --Ethan
