Members PBBPaul
I'm trying to transfer files from an external Fostex hard disk recorder using the ADAT ports on this card. Does anybody have experience with the drivers for this card? I'm having a hell of a time trying to get it to both record and play back.
Members philbo
Well.. there's your problem. This card does not have ADAT ports. It has SP/DIF in & out, and 8 analog ins/outs. You'll need to tell the card (via software) to sync to the SP/DIF input else you'll probably get weird problems. You can get drivers (the one that worked best for me had a version number of 1.25 or similar) from the terratec website. If you can't find them there, PM me and I'll email the install file. Good luck from a fellow cheese head. (I grew up in Monroe)

The only way I can get it to record tracks from the Fostex deck is to set the card to ASIO and that's not right. How do you sync to the SP/DIF input? Once you get the driver software installed it puts a control panel into your programs menu. Fire that up & go to the settings tab, then set the sample rate to external.
