Members chaosStrings
Roughly two and a half years ago I started playing the guitar. At the same time, I initiated myself to the fascinating world of DIY, and my quest for projects and documentation has led me to your many projects for musicians. The articles you have published have always been interesting, very well explained and a fun and fast method to learn. They have indeed positively influenced my progress, which has now enabled me to develop and finish my first "serious" DIY design. For this I wanted to say thank you. By the way, you can check the project, an "universal" guitar preamp for DI applications and recording, here:http://acapella.harmony-central.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2249720

Members Hard Truth
Many of us progressed faster technically and musically thanks to Anderton. As I recall, I got Anderton's Electronic Projects for Musicians book in 1978 and learned how to solder and troubleshoot. Then there was the essential Electronic Musician magazine and later one of the first musician's forums online with his forum on AOL.
