Members Ernest Buckley
I could never get into college basketball. I don`t know why. Even the game of basketball is kind of silly to me, every game comes down to the last 5 minutes. I think March Madness would be a lot more fun if the games were 5 minutes each! Members BlueStrat
I think March Madness would be a lot more fun if the games were 5 minutes each! And there weren't 11,000 teams to start the tournament.

Wrong forum. Shouldn't this be over on the Keyboard Corner? My team has had a bad year made worse by fans frequently spotting the coach at casinos, players envious that the coach is the one getting to party so much at night, and rumors of one player leaving after finding his girlfriend at the coach

Members Richard King
This is a brief video of a portion of the last college basketball game that I went to while attending the University of Minnesota. This was far from the "Best" basketball game I ever attended. Go Gophers.

Members Geoff Grace
Best Basketball game ever? Tough question to answer. As a Suns fan, I have to throw Game 5 of the 1976 Suns/Celtics NBA Finals into the mix -- a triple-overtime nail-biter, with the series tied at 2-2, that many consider to be the best NBA game of all time. Since I missed the Orange game, I'm unqualified to answer; but I did watch the ESPN crew debate the question the day after the game. Their consensus was that it was certainly one of the best games of all time, but that the stakes weren't high enough to have made it THE best game of all time. I don't know whether I agree that the stakes should be a factor -- a great game is a great game -- but high stakes certainly add to the excitement. Members Magpel
Geoff, it wasn't the best basketball game ever--unless perhaps you are a Syracuse fan. We have been slipping a little discussion of college ball into the NBA thread, but we should probably create a March madness thread instead.Tough question to answer.
