The owners, proudly played some DVDs so I could listen their audio system. One of the DVDs they played was "Under The Desert Sky" from Andrea Bocelli, a concert he played at Las Vegas in 2006, with wonderful arrangements from Humberto Gatica and David Foster, with a beautiful live orchestra. Then I saw the PBS broadcast of David Foster and friends and his skill as an arranger and songwriter was so apparent in that live setting. Just unbelievable how well done Foster's live presentation is. And then Bocelli. I guess I'm not supposed to like him. Oh well, I do. I was asked to learn the Bocelli song "I Will Say Goodbye". It turned out to be the highlight of every night and the most requested song from what was decidedly not a high-brow crowd.
