Members Richard King
I saw three of them, but no pix this time. The three were over about an hour. Very disappointing.

Members cooterbrown
November remember the Leonids about 2001? Absolutely.Sky was totally clear...and I saw the only head-on meteor I have ever witnessed. It was simply a point of light that began faintly, blazed to a point, then faded. It's angular diameter was non-existent...I could have blocked it out with a pinhead. Phil O'Keefe
I had a long session, and would look on the occasional break. We had about 40% cloud cover, and the viewing wasn't great - I only saw two or three tonight. I'll look again tomorrow night.

Members elsongs
I had a rehearsal with my background singers and sax player at the background singers' house (they're a married couple) in the San Fernando Valley (suburban Los Angeles) on Tuesday night and reminded them about the meteor shower. Sure it was in the city lights, but after going out for some late-night Japanese food, we stood in the front yard of their house, and they turned off all of the house and yard lights. The sky was totally clear. The only bright light we could see was the moon and a streetlight from across the street. We did see a few meteors. I spotted about seven between about 12:30 and 1:15 a.m. Most spotted towards the overhead north. Not bad for the city limits! We all complained about aching necks when we decided to call it a night! Members vetmxer
I was in Grinnell Iowa Weds. night and it was spectacular. Between 11:30pm and 12:30 am I saw probly 50(lost track after about 30) and with a storm brewing to the east with a lotta lightning it was quite a show. Members Rubber Lizard
Maybe I'm on the wrong planet? Thursday night, 1:45 am. I stood outside staring at the sky until my neck complained and my dog thought I was crazy. The milky way was worth seeing, though, as usual.
