Members rasputin1963
http://www.hpr.org/ This online radio station "Traditional Classic Country" plays a superb lineup of great old Country... vintage 1950--1980. When Country was COUNTRY! This music is so WARM... the way no music today is warm.

This music is so WARM... the way no music today is warm. Bookmarked. (I'm listening to Thelonious Monk right at the sec but he always seques good with Faron Young. ) Nice: first cut was Lefty Frizzel. Next was a super lo-lo fi "Running Bear and White Dove" (title?)... 1 for 2's not bad. Another great trad/roots/bluegrass resource is WAMU.org. I pretty much only listen to NPR on the 'real' radio so it's kind of a fun treat to (every once in a while) hear a good, old-fashioned DJ -- who knows the music he's playing and the people who make it. As I recall, they even have a relatively good sounding 128 kbps stream. Thanks to Mike Rivers for turning me on to that one.
