I could use a Roc-n-Soc throne with the backrest.....

or a giant gong,,

or a Pancho Sanchez super tumba,,

or a 21" big band ride...

or Constantinople hh's...

maybe I should just save up for some new tubes for my amps...

I want a drum dial, a saluda 10" splash, and a 16" saluda voodoo china

Hey Tama, I've got a 16" voodoo that I am looking to get rid of for a ridiculously low price. I got it, it wasn't what I was looking for, and it has sat ever since. If you're interested, let me know.

Anyone here use the Sabian Ozone Cymbals?

I've played them, love the sound, but they don't project or cut enough. The HHXTreme crashes are similarly trashy, but are louder and project better.

I played one at Daddy's Junky Music one time. I'll tell you what it sounds like.

I own a Pearl Wild hi-hat. The top hi-hat, after years of abuse, from both myself and the previous owner, has been bent into the shape of a China cymbal. It sounds almost exactly like a Sabian Evolution O-zone cymbal. Considering that the O-zone is $180, and I got this thing with my set ($450 for the whole thing), I'd say I got a good deal.

Also tells you something about cymbal-making... If I can turn a crappy cymbal into a good effects cymbal by beating the hell out of it...

funny, i just asked/ordered a couple of bass mics.

the recording forum guys would recommend a bunch of stuff, but the shure beta 52 is a pretty darn good bass mic. i ended up buying the audio technica pro25 just because i didn't want to ask for some mics that were expensive as hell. the beta 52s are about 180, but i'd need two. so, the pro 25s at 80 a piece are a better choice....on the wallet at least. :p
