Members Guitar Stuff Music Store
What gear is on everyone's Christmas list for this year? I would like to get a new power amp, crossover and subwoofer added to my P.A. Of course new sets of strings, and maybe a new case for my Tacoma Acoustic will be more feasable this year. Members Chabo
TamaSuperstar- you can find Saluda stuff on Ebay really easily. I won a 10" splash for $23.50 shipped.
Members TamaSuperstar
Thanx for the tip, but I do that already! How do you like it? I have yet to be disappointed with their cymbals. I would ask for more (they are cheap!), but I already got a new 7x8 tom to match my N&C CD Maple Jazz kit that I bought 3 months ago.

Members Neil_BruBoz
I already know that I'll be getting a new 20" Wuhan china, and a 7" Sabian Evolution splash from my wife (I picked them out). And hopefully, I can score a gift certificate to my local drum shop for some new heads.
Members MoosBros
nadda,,,,,I've been a very bad boy this year....... but,, if I were to WISH for something drum related,,, I could use a Roc-n-Soc throne with the backrest..... or a giant gong,, or a Pancho Sanchez super tumba,, or a 21" big band ride... or Constantinople hh's... maybe I should just save up for some new tubes for my amps... Members STIXXS
Some good drum mics for recording....any suggestions?
Members Guitar Stuff Music Store
I have used the Audio Technica drum mic kit for live sound on snare, toms and bass drum. I also use some old battery powered Shure prolouge mics for overhead. They pick up cymbals pretty good. Shure SM57s are also decent mics for recording. Members shroud
I want a drum dial, a saluda 10" splash, and a 16" saluda voodoo china Hey Tama, I've got a 16" voodoo that I am looking to get rid of for a ridiculously low price. I got it, it wasn't what I was looking for, and it has sat ever since. If you're interested, let me know. Originally posted by Guitar Stuff Music Store Anyone here use the Sabian Ozone Cymbals? I've played them, love the sound, but they don't project or cut enough. The HHXTreme crashes are similarly trashy, but are louder and project better. The top hi-hat, after years of abuse, from both myself and the previous owner, has been bent into the shape of a China cymbal. It sounds almost exactly like a Sabian Evolution O-zone cymbal. Considering that the O-zone is $180, and I got this thing with my set ($450 for the whole thing), I'd say I got a good deal. Also tells you something about cymbal-making... If I can turn a crappy cymbal into a good effects cymbal by beating the hell out of it...
