Members braindonor35
I have to drive 45 min for lessons once a week, and that's just one way. The store I take lesson's at is opening a store in my town, and they are giving lessons. The problem is, I really like my teacher. I don't know what to do, save gas mileage and stay in town, or take the drive. Any suggestions?
Members Mofishes
An even better scenario would be to beocme the teacher at this new store. Your current drum teacher could recommend you. Just a thought.
Members braindonor35
I've only been playing 5 months, I doubt they'd want me;) But then again, you only need to stay one page ahead of the students, lol.
Members HulkBlood01
Keep going to the one you are right now. Signup for a couple lessons at the one in town, and decide which ones better.
Members psycht
Ask your current teacher if he can rotate with you. Maybe teach you at this new place once or twice a month. Just explain to him that discance is really a factor. Or Just ask around about the new teacher. If he has a good recomendation, and if you've only been playing for 5 months, then you may not notice a difference in how they teach or what your learning because your still very new to drumming. As long as your improving, thats the main thing.
Members ulank
After every lesson, bring a piece of the kit you play on back to the new store. After a few weeks, the teacher will *have* to meet you there.
