i've played guitar for about 6-7yrs, now and have been playing keys for 2 and would really like to find someone in my area to jam with; i'm 24, married, got good/loud gear and some floor space that we could use if we had to. i would like to find someone who's got a good/serious attitude (don't need any losers hittin' on my wife, god i hate that), some practice space they're willing to split, 21+yrs old, got a girlfriend and other responsibilities, no drugs or smoking. i can play heavy meta (a little better rhythm than lead, but hand hold my own on lead, too) and blues on guitar and would like to mostly experiment with blues, jazz, funk and rock with the keys, primarily. i also have a notebook full of lyrics i'd like to work on/collaborate on... i'm in the Royal Oak/Detroit, Mi area... lemme know what you think!!

Well, I'm a drummer, 22 (turning 23 next month) and I'd be all about it, but I'm located just north of Grand Rapids (which is Northwest of you). I don't know, perhaps we could get in touch and play sometime. I've been thinking of relocating anyway.

I suppose I'd have to get an idea of the stuff that you normally listen to and excites you musically as well.

yeah... grand rapids is LOCO far, man. though i'm a freak when it comes to loading up gear and headin' out to make noise... that might be a serious stretch for both of us. you ever head on out this way? how long ya been playin for? what kinda stuff ya play/listen to?

guitar-wise, i dig metal (a la metallica and sabbath) and blues (a la stevie ray). but, as far as keys go; i like herbie hancock, bill evans, michel camillo, chick corea and most anything that use vintage keys (B3, rhodes, whurly etc) in kind of a jazz, rock, fusion sort of way...

if ya care to listen, i can let ya know kinda the direction i'd like to play in...
