Members pinhead
Hi everybody, I'm a guitar player who has grown accustom to my drummer's set and want to go buy one of my own. I was looking at my favorite drummers kit so I could look at what I should be getting to achieve the sounds I like and I figured out his whole set except for one cymbal he has. It's set up high with his crash but it's more vertically slanted and it appears like he placed it on the stand so that the what usually is the bottom side of the cymbal is facing up. It is fairly big, approximately 20''. Does anybody have a guess at what this could be? Maybe a weirdly positioned crash or a china? Thanks,Chris
Members speedkingdude
its just a normal cymbal(from what youve said, its just upside down), travis barker plays a cymbal thats set-up like that.

Members pinhead
I'll try to find a picture, there's not exactly many around of them though especially showing the drumset. The drummer is Francis Marks of From Autumn to Ashes by the way. Chris
Members JSimms
Are the edges bent? I'm guessing china.
Members JSimms
I did some digging... Are you talking about this cymbal? Over his right shoulder? Still hard to tell, but I am guessing some kind of china.
Members treb
it is a "china" more than likely its "turned inside out" to achieve the maximum "trashy" sound
