Members ulank
Try it now. It's an mp3, about 4MB. Thanks! Well, the amp folks don't want to play time sig games, but perhaps you drummers might enjoy a little exercise in this, while getting the opportunity to tear apart my band's music! Below is a newly recorded tune by my band (me on guitar not drums, but I'd love to hear comments and criticisms about anything at all) and the time sig is all over the place. Just curious if anyone can figure out the time sig of the chorus (first vox part right after the heavy intro) and the verse (cleaner part with walkin bass line). I look forward to your opinions and answers on the time sig! Thanks. Self-Exposed for you dial-uppers, it's 5MB.

Members Mofishes
Great job.... reminds me of a hybrid of Jethro Tull and Early '80's Rush. I like it. Not sure how you count it but I counted out your verses as three bars of 7/8 followed by a bar of 5/8 on the turn around. Does that seem to fit?
Members ulank
Thanks man! Cool, I love Tull and Rush. This is a good thing Thanks. You've got the total beats right it seems and you're close. The verses do start in 7/8, but they shake out a little differently from there and there's a difference every other time through the progression. I counted your way and the accents don't quite come out right, but it may make for some funky syncopation! Thanks again for checkin it out! Members NewfieDrummer
Great tune. Definate hints of Rush in there. Way to mix it up. Your singer's got a good voice. Nice job. ND

It doesn't grab my attention too much. I like music that makes you stop what your doing and listen. I wouldn't stop what I'm doing...wouldn't change the channel either...just wouldn't notice it much.
