Members The Professiona
They are wonderful, wonderful drums for their price. I don't have one, but my best friend does, and it is a beautiful drum. It has a very nice tone to it, and as soon as I can save up the money for one, I'll have one as well. If you can find a music store that lets you beat drums, test it out. Members moyerbros
The ones I've played have all sounded nice. I think they are well made and look good. Of course, the Black Panther is a series of drums. They come in different shell materials and sizes. So it's really kind of hard to answer this question. Is there a particular model you are asking about?
Members jokerjkny
the brass snares are great for the money. havent tried the wood ones, but the metal Black Panthers arent bad at all. IMHO, the Brass Black Panther's are about as vibey as the reissue Ludwig Black Beauties they were patterned after. forget the Tama crap brass snares. Mapex nailed it. been trying to kill the GAS from getting a 13x5.5 brass.

Members moyerbros
I've played the brass in several sizes. Very nice snare. Can be a bit loud, but you may want that, depending on what you play. Still a very nice snare. Good sound. I love the looks of them.
Members lord percy
I play just about anything but especially heavy stuff, is that snare going to work for that?
Members moyerbros
It will do well for the heavy stuff. I like the 5.5x13 best for the crack of the rimshot.
