Not currently. I left the band i was in about 9 months before i got this kit. I have yet to even gig with it due to my schedule. The kit went to a studio with a freinds band but the album is not done yet. I am moving in the next 2 weeks and where i am going i hope to have a studio setup where i can make audio tracks.

HOLY {censored}! THATS AMAZING! Not a fan of the double bass, but thats one hell of a set. I'm going for a more simple set, just a 4 piece. I play mostly pop punk ska style stuff, I really don't need a huge set! Anyone else got pics? Slipknot, your set was just breath taking, how much did that cost if I may ask?

Pretending your a customer to steal information is far more unprofessional. While OCDP could have kept it quiet and sucked it up, they chose to voice there opinion and thats fine. The only company you should be pissed at is Truth, not OCDP. You were'nt lied to like OCDP was so you cant really say how your would react.

And if you hate everything OCDP stands for, why are you in a thread devoted to OCDP???.

I cant get over how often on these sites people seem to have nothing better to do then to find a way to start an argument. All the thread starter asked for was pics of OCDP kits, THATS IT!. He did'nt ask anybody for there opinion of them, he did'nt ask anyone to talk about there website and he did'nt ask anyone to discuss there likes or dislikes about them, he just asked for pics. Why is that so hard to accept??.

You dont like OCDP?, dont post in here and IGNORE THE THREAD. There are alot of kit brands i dont like but i dont feel some uncontollable need to go in those threads and voice my opinion when it is'nt asked for, why do you?

Cant say as though i HATE the company - but i found the news coment pretty childish. Its flattery to be copied - and thought over-rated - IMHO OCDP should not throw stones in the public domain - it's how you start creating negative attention and opinions. Competition breads success - if your intelectual or other property has been stolen - sue them - and keep your mouth shut!

I wasn't trying to start an argument, i just happened to check out the ocdp site after you guys were talking about it and saw their post. Since the topic was ocdp, i posted. Who are you to tell me what i can and can't post? Obviously you have some sort of vested interest in ocdp and now you're pissed at me for posting negative comments about them. Well guess what, i don't care. Touring the factory of another company is not illegal and neither is studying the techniques of other companies. TONS of companies do this in multiple industries. You think that Ford doesn't buy a Chrysler car just to study it for comparison? Who are you kidding? Besides, OCDP doesn't make their own shells or their own lugs and using a hole saw to turn drums into swiss cheese isn't exactly enough to get a US Patent. If OCDP has special techniques that they don't want other companies using, they should be applying for patents and not telling everyone who visits the intricacies of their company. The OCDP higher-ups are obviously lacking in any business sense other than marketing, and going and defaming the bible on their company website is obvious proof of this.

It has nothing to do with OCDP dude, its the same principle with any thread. The guy asked for pictures AND THATS IT, why is that so hard for you to understand????. You turned a thread about pictures into an argument. Either do what somebody asks in the thread title or shut your mouth. If everybody did that on drum forums there would be almost zero arguing.

I see this crap all the time. Someone asks to see pictures of Barker and suddenly people feel the need to voice there opinion on him. WHY??. People turn perfectly innocent threads into a debate or argument. Becuase of this crap people have to scroll through irrelevant posts and it just brings the forum down.

As for the Truth issue, you obviously have no idea whats going on with it so you may as well stay out of it. It was'nt about a tour OCDP gave the Truth guys, there is alot more to the story.

If you started a thread asking for pictures of Rocket Shells kits and i came in and said "The owner of Rocket Shells is a coke head" you would'nt find that annoying and unnesecary to post??.

Even though i participated - on a couple of different levels - i agree. Thread hi-jacking kinda blows - after a while - when you become a vet of certain forums - which you seem to be - stuff like that starts to bother you. The internet can get under your skin if you let it -

Honestly you seem like one of the few level headed intelligant people on several forums - i respect you for that. But once in a while - someone is going to hi jack a thread - its going to happen.

BTW - the Rocket Shell guys dont need coke LOL - they breath in reson dust all day - its lots worse :-) *wink

It was just an example. But the resin dust is a good excuse he should keep in case he ever does become a coke head.:D

The head is on straight, but the Remo and Paiste stickers are a little crooked. Doesn't bother me though.

Because Stapes is a know it all student who knows {censored} all about {censored} all.

Don't take it too personally Slip, he also hates DW, Pork Pie and probably every other brand except for Mapex, or his own magnificent hand made kit that he hasn't even made yet.

Just because you're a broke student Stapes, don't take it out on

the people who work hard to buy good gear, because insulting their equipment or preferred brand will only make them think you're a {censored}.
