I still hesitate to call her anything close to punk....i'm not a no-doubt fan at all, but unless she was in a band before that, they were never punk....they were like "safe-ska" that slowly made its way to mainstream rock/pop/ska....it would be like calling blink182 punk...in my opinion, that style's called PowerPop.
