Members psycht
I have Evans G2's on top and G1's on bottom and that offeres a nice deep, punch w/ a bit of resonance. I play alt/rock music, so it works for me.
Members otacon28
g2's coated on top,and g1's clears on bottoms here too, they sound great, and i use moongels on all of my toms ,it seems to help control how much ring i want from the toms at times, and somewhat mute them out at other times by just peeling the moongel off and resticking various places around the drum head.. i play different styles of music from rock - jazzier stuff, and even some funk they seem to work well in all the different situations to me (very nicely balanced sound too) i really like the feel of the g2's being dual ply they feel nice and durable, but still give you a nice warm bodied sound on the toms with out having to sacrafice sound for strength.. give em a try,you may be very glad you did like i was !! sam(otacon28)
