Members DarthWader
I saw Huey Lewis and the News in concert a day or two ago. Now that's real musicians. They wrote their own tunes, they play their own music and they sound phenomenal live despite their age. Makes today's pop/pop-rock all the more depressing. But oh what a great night it was. Their drummer did a very nice drum solo. His sound was amazing, some Yamahas. And he sings while drumming, which rocks my socks because it's hard. I saw them years ago, early 90s I think and it was one of the funnest concerts I have ever been to. What is really cool is they all share the spotlight, everyone is featured sooner or later. I had no idea they were still playing...
Members DarthWader
Yeah it was nice to see every player (even the horn extras not actually "band members") get the spotlight. They put on a great show. As for them still playing, I'm not sure how often they play, but I know that every year at the Wolf Trap park near Washington D.C. they play a concert. Heard about it a few months back, knew I had to go! Wade
