Members trendkiller
Im a drummer and ive recently nailed the fast heel up double kick technique (up to about 190 bpm). i practice on an electric kit at home cuz of neighbours but when i play on an acoustic kit in a band situation the kick drum gets completely lost underneath everything. Im thinking of buying a trigger for my kick drum to put through the module that i use for my for my electric kit. Anyone got any recommendations about a good trigger to get. I hear the ddrum DDTTK Kick Drum Trigger is good?
Members Fafnir777
Yeah, the ddrum top of the line (not the Redshot) is great. You could build one that is mounted INSIDE the kick for about $25 or less. Tim
Members trendkiller
I thought the redshot was top of the line? Which ddrum trigger is better..........more importantly how much more does it cost? As i know absolutely nothing about sound tech i think ill steer clear of building myself a trigger cuz i know id just screw it up and end up paying more in the long run! No the Redshot trigger is the lower line. The top of the line one is about $60 or so and has an XLR cable out instead of a 1/4" cable. Tim
