I doubt too many members of this board care about him. But I'll say this. Jackson has or perhaps had, more talent in his little finger than a lot of the artists and bands today. People put up hoaxes like this, because they're {censored}ing idiots with no life and no talent, and they're jealous. It seems nowaday that the record companies are just signing people up left and right. Honestly, how of the bands today will still around or have a career like Micheal, not to many. they come and they go.the next thing you know, you could be a one hit wonder and just fade away. Posted April 16, 2004 Members Share Posted April 16, 2004 I too don't believe that the allegations with the children had any truth in them,yes Jackson is pretty messed up but so would a lot of us be if we'd had to endure his upbringing and living in the goldfish bowl rarified atmosphere of constantly being in the spotlight for 35 odd years.I don't really like the guy now but there is no denying the contribution he has made to popular music.Look closely inside yourself and put yourself in a position of having the finances to do anything u dream or want to do,I know I'd be doing some pretty wierd stuff,I bet you would too. I don't think all the allegations against him are true - maybe there's some truth to one or two, but I'd like to think not - but people like to take a swing at a rich guy who's too damn shy to come out and defend himself. Regardless of the truth/untruth of the accusations, I will be very sad the day Michael Jackson dies. He has written some of my favorite songs ever and deserves the title "King of Pop." Not only did he have hits, he KEPT having hits. And what I think is most impressive is that while he did not write all his songs himself, he did write the ones that became hits - that's pretty much nonexistant for modern pop stars. I am proud to have his albums in my collection. Wade EDIT: I also have always thought he actually had a good voice, unlike the Britneys, Christinas and boy bands.
