I am looking to upgrade my Electric drum set for my home studio.

What would be the better set a V-Stage with TD-8

or a used V-session with the TD-10.

which set the better sounding and playable Drum Kit ?

Blah, Roland's sample sets are thin and depend too highly on processing and effects to sound good. Go to a local music shop and try turning off the fx on a td-8 or 10, you'll see what I mean.

Try a real drum module.

8x+ multilayered samples, better dynamics (>127 levels), ability to load your own samples, etc.
