Members aeonrevolution
Hello there, first time in this forum - don't hurt me please I did a search on digital drums figuring to find my answer but there were only 3 threads, two from 2003 here. I was wondering if anyone knew of some programs to try out to put some drums into some music I have been noodling around with. Hmmm also, since I am a guitar player and have no background in drums will that make this attempt 10x harder? I've just been itching to put some percussion into some of my recordings and most of my acquiantences aren't exactly into the same kind of music so ya know how that goes. Thanks in advance. Members sumpm1
the reason that you got no search results for "digital drums" is because I have never heard anyone call them that. If you want to create your own beatsss, any "sequencer" will do that. Including Cubase, SOnar, Pro Tools, Fruity Loops, Reason....... Go to KVR-VST and click the "Quick Links" button on the upper right of the front page to search all sequencers, hostss etc.... YOu will find every piece of audio software ever made there. I use Fruity Loops to program my own beats. It's cheap and it works, and it also can be used as a VST instrument which is quite handy. Like I said though, any sequencer software is made to do midi.... or beats.... thats what you want. Depending on how much work you want to do oe how much control you want over the sound, you could also go with "loop" based programs that have pre-arranged beats that you can piece together. Google is your friend!
