However I have managed to get it sounding pretty good by tweaking it and stuff and I have added top range cymbals. So, now it,s a ver nice kit to play. By the way- its a session pro (now changed the name to CB though).Now, My problem is this- The tom arms go right into the drum so that if the skins were'nt coated, you would see an ugly great arm. Now- Im desperate to put clear skins on but im not prepared to because the hideous arm will be on show. How can I hav clear skins without the arm being on show!!??? Please reply ASAP!!! I mean, I know we can all be pretty vain about our gear, but I don't think I'd be taking a hack saw to remove something only the player will see. And why is this so urgent? You are the only one who is really going to see it anyway. Another option is to buy RIMS mounts for all your toms. I have no idea about UK, but here is one: http://www.gaugerpercussion.com . One word of warning, I never said it was a cheap option. It will cost you several hundred dollars at least.
