Members nklarow
I know that John Bonham (Led Zeppelin) plays completely different music than Neil Peart (Rush), but in a drum off, who do you think would win?
Members rockbeat
Neil would win because Bonzo's dead.

Members fastplant
Seriously, in a drum-off between Charlie Watts and Mike Portnoy, who would win

Members slickrick1688
Theres really no comparison between the 2. Itd be like EVH going against Eric clapton. Both are really good, but play different styles of music.
Members Drumr
Neil, of course. Come on...Committ!

Members agogobill
I predict that when time runs out, the drummer who has the most points will win. I guarantee it.
Members relva2
while they are incredibly different, i can only say that bonham is my favorite and seems to have influenced more people. with that said, i still think its unfair to say one is better. Members Drumr
I'm a huge Bonham fan! Never cared for Rush...but. Bonham made drumming history no doubt, and influenced us all with this triplets. But loook at his lifestyle and what it did to him. Now look at Neal's... Bonham...drummer. Peart, drummer, songwriter, author. enough said.
Members rockbeat
Thought it was a drumming contest, not a morality contest. Just kidding. Seriously though, Meg White and a trained chimp in a drum off, who would win?
Members Drumr
The Chimp might have a more interesting look. You are right...I got all moral on ya. I admit to missing the point. Bonham no doubt had the greater impact on drummers, myself included.
Members spitfire909x
Neil Peart. Bonham could do triplets. Neil can do everything.

Members Shamoo
Who do you think would win in a drum off, Superman or Godzilla? I mean Supermans speed is awesome but Godzilla, well he's got the power factor all wrapped up. What do you think?
Members zarazabas
Superman would definitely win, he's got the speed PLUS the power, and a cape which makes him look super cool. Unless the drumkit was made of cryptonite, in which case his drumming would be reduced to pitiful wailing and screaming in the feotal position. Members nklarow
well, drumming isnt about hitting the most drums while playing and its not all about hitting the drums as hard as you can, but i think that... ummm... Terry Bozio would win.
Members Drumr
I Love Carter's drumming, but Ringo got to play the really good songs. I would like to hear a Beatle collection remix with Carter on it. But then, you'd have to go out and get a really great guitarist to do new leads...where would it end.
