So I'm just wondering if anyone who is in marching band can recommend some good quints. Also, if anyone knows some good heads for tenors. We use Remo Pinstripes now. It is okay but pretty flat. Not much tone. I know Evans makes some really nice marching heads so if someone could recommend some of those. They have aluminium bearing support rings so that you can tune them to super high tensions. If you want high tension heads, go with the Remo Tenor Clear Emperor, and if you want a more traditional sound, go with the Remo Tenor Renaissance Emperor.
