Members debutvm
First off I am not asking anyone for some recorded drum tracks or anything like that. I am starting to do some recording and was wondering what I could use to keep a beat...Is there any type of device that I could set and use as a tempo keeper or something. I have heard of people mention a "click". Sorry for my retardness but i know nothing about drums. Thanks in advance. -Kyle
Members axe2 2001
Probably the wrong forum to ask this question but, look at the Alesis SR 16 drum machine. My drummer is jealous of it! Just kidding, But it does have 233 preset patterns in alot of different styles and can be had on the Bay for around $100.00.

Members axe2 2001
Sounds like you want a computer drum program. I'm lost on that stuff. The SR 16 is a stand alone unit. Thats about all I know about drum machines. I have a drummer too so I only need it for a few things. There are lots of drum programs. Try a search. This forum is full of real drummers so you might not get too much help about computer drums here!
Members 12OzEpilogue
well if you are good on the computer and spent a day you could easily download Nuendo with tons of plug ins included tons of drum machines and compressors and guitar programs as well it might take a while butsit worth it
Members mparsons
Any MIDI software can do drums. Anvil Studio is a free software that has a good drum engine. Guitar pro works well also If you want a more live sound, then Acoustica Beatcraft is good ( Drum Kit From Hell if you want metal ).
