Members tmetaler
now is this a PRACTICE tool or a full-time attachment, like something you would record with or play live with? cuz i think i would be more likely to buy it if it were meant for practice, cuz you always run the risk of it breaking when you need it most and it screwing you up.... i wouldnt pay more than $100 for something like that. mebbe $150 if it were a practice tool

Not sure that any device that does this will ever be popular, unless it is for practice only. I think people will always want to achieve greater speed and dexterity, and improved technique themselves through practice, without resorting to add ons. Members Majoria
I never buy anything based on a sales pitch. Give me the product with a no more than 60 second overview and then tell the sales person to go away. I'll let you know my decision. My experience has been that the more "revolutionary" or "new and improved" (not sure how you can have both of those qualities at once) a product is the less likely I am to purchase it. A truly good product will sell itself.
Members WillyRay
yeah... also, I've learned to avoid "magic-pill" type products. Anything that seems like it's coming off as an alternative to practice throws up a red-flag for me. That said, any time you market a product as an alternative to practice, it'll probably sell fine. /w

Yeah... my fear would be that you're unnecessarily limiting yourself. Is it that you just don't like the style of music that they're usually played on? Did you dis-like Louis Bellson's two bass drums? Not that it's important... it's just interesting when such a wildly non-comforming opinion comes along. /willy

So am I safe in assuming you've heard every double bass technique that every drummer in every genre and style in the world has ever played? Now, THAT"S impressive.
